NO. 218 - Lavender Espresso is a robust coffee fragrance for women and men. It is a masterful example of aromatic duality where cool, relaxing calm meets intense warmth and stimulation, creating a wonderfully contrasting feast for your senses.

Scent Profile

Embrace an aromatic awakening with a cool, invigorating rush of Camphor and Peppermint, for an energising and enlivening lift. Green Lavender leaves bring crisp, herbal clarity and the delicate purple flowers soften the herbal edge to a subtle haze.  Steam rises from a freshly brewed espresso sat amongst the Lavender, making the air deeply aromatic and alive.

The heart gently settles into floral facets of Rose and the dry, grassy, hay-like tones of Coumarin. Lavender flowers sit front and centre before being wrapped with a soft, creamy smooth undertone. Emulating the cool morning Lavender fields lying on warm, grounding richness.

The base plunges you into an addictive and decadent pool of golden Caramel, rich, roasted Coffee and the comforting creaminess of Vanilla. Supported with the balsamic warmth of Amber and soft, spiced wood accords suggestive of a dark cup of steaming coffee resting beside soft Lavender stems. The finish is warm, bitter and subtly sweet and its masterful duality and contrast linger in the air.

Understanding The IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution

Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making. It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil. 

In some cases these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce. 

As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or as frugal as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.

Based on the ingredients used, as per the International Fragrance Regulation Authority, the maximum dilutions given above apply.

Blending NO. 218

We find it lends itself beautifully to blending with its contrasting and comforting range of aromatics. It makes for an extremely versatile and highly coveted fragrance oil for the modern scent connoisseur. Try blending it with:

• NO. 218 Fragrance Oil Is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for any kind of lip or mouth related products as per their categories 1 and 6.

We recommend testing a small amount before scaling up to larger size formulations. As with all VINEVIDA products. 

• While NO. 218 Fragrance Oil will have no therapeutic properties, because it is a synthetic product, it’s a wonderful way to scent your home. Have the best time experimenting and making your home an ever more beautiful expression of you.
